Using tags in Pitchbox is a great way to organize your outreach opportunities. It allows you to easily identify additional outreach information for an opportunity, without the need to read through your communication history.
There are three different categories of ‘Tags’ available:
You can start by using some of the default tags available such as ‘Blog’, ‘Guest Post’, ‘Magazine’, ‘Resource’, ‘Review’, and ‘Sponsored’. You can also choose to create custom tags for any purpose.
Tags are especially useful if you have multiple team members working on the same project and/or campaign who may not be immediately familiar with the outreach information associated with various opportunities.
Here’s where you can add (or remove) tags in Pitchbox:
- All stages of the Workflow (Inspect, Personalize, Compose)
- Opportunity Details
- Pop-up from the Inbox while replying
- Opportunity Search
- Campaign Creation
Adding Tags in the Workflow
When you’re working in a campaign you have the option to add tags to your opportunity list individually or in bulk at any point during Inspect, Personalize, and Compose. Select the opportunity/opportunities you want to add tags for, and click the ‘Add Tag’ button found above your opportunity list.
A pop-up will appear on your screen to select already created tags, or create a new tag. Click ‘Add Tags’ once you’re satisfied with your tag selection(s).
Adding Tags in the Pipeline
From the Pipeline, you can add tags using the ‘Add Tags’ button or drop-down menu located above the opportunity list. Select the opportunity/opportunities you want to add tags for, then click the ‘Add Tags’ button or drop-down to start adding tags.
A pop-up will appear on your screen to select some tags or create a new tag. Select ‘Add Tags’ once you’re satisfied with your tag selection(s).
Adding Tags on the Opportunity Details page
If you are on the Opportunity Details page for a specific opportunity, you can add tags in the ‘Opportunity Information’ section on the right side of the screen. Click the ‘Add Tags’ button.
A pop-up will appear on your screen to select some tags or create a new tag. Hit ‘Add Tags’ once you’re satisfied with your tag selection(s).
Adding Tags from the Inbox and Chasebox
If you are in the Inbox or Chasebox, you can assign Opportunity Tags for your communications. Place a check next to one or more emails and select 'Add Tags'.
Adding Tags when replying from the Inbox
If you are working through your Inbox, when you click to reply to a message the box for Quick Reply will fill your screen. From here you can click the ‘Add Tags’ button in the left-hand corner.
Adding Tags when creating a campaign
When creating a campaign, you'll have the option to add Campaign Tags for additional organization:
How can I create and manage all my account Tags?
As an Admin, you can access the ‘Tags’ page by clicking ‘Shortcuts’ then ‘Tags’. Here you can view, as well as create and delete Tags for contacts, opportunities, and campaigns.
Please Note: If you don't see an option to add or remove tags, your User role may not have this privilege granted/available.
