One-Click Unsubscribe

Pitchbox offers a One-Click Unsubscribe feature that will enhance recipient experience for your outreach campaigns. 📧 It is super quick and easy to implement!


You can find the One-Click Unsubscribe toggle when creating your email template. You will see options: One-Click Unsubscribe and the Opt-Out Footer. Both of these settings can be toggled at once.

Toggling the One-Click Unsubscribe option will provide a header in email clients that support this function. This header allows email recipients to unsubscribe to your email outreach using an unsubscribe link. Pitchbox will add this contact to your Do Not Email list.


A one-click unsubscribe feature is not mandatory for outreach but is there for your organization if your team requires it. It also follows the RFC 8058.



There are several pre-requisites necessary for the One-Click Unsubscribe. You need to configure these records correctly within your email server:

  1. Set up your DNS settings,
  2. Configured DKIM,
  3. Configured SPF records.

Your ESP has discretion as to whether the One-Click Unsubscribe link will display in your email. It is typical that marketing emails will display this button, but your sender reputation is also taken into account.
