Managing Campaigns: Move, Archive, Restore, or Delete
You can move, archive, or delete a campaign from the campaign actions menu on your campaign card. To open it, click the campaign card menu button, then select the option you need.
Archiving a Campaign
To archive a campaign, go to your Campaign Dashboard, open the campaign actions dropdown on the campaign, and select Archive Campaign.
What happens when you archive a campaign
- Outreach stops. Automated outreach for the campaign will not continue until the campaign is restored to active status. You can still manually contact opportunities from the Opportunity Details page or the Inbox.
- Your data is kept. The campaign keeps all of its previous data, and its opportunities remain visible.
- Inbound emails still arrive. You will continue to receive inbound emails associated with the campaign.
- Deduplication changes. Only sites within the workflow of an unarchived campaign count towards your Opportunity Deduplication.
- Campaign limits still apply. Archived campaigns still count towards your account's campaign limit.
An archived campaign stays archived for as long as you want, and you can restore it at any time.
Viewing Archived Campaigns
- Go to your Campaign Dashboard.
- Click Filter at the top of the page to open the full dropdown menu.
- Change the Campaign Status dropdown to Archived Campaigns.
- Select Apply.
This lists all of the archived campaigns within your project.
Restoring (Unarchiving) a Campaign
- Follow the steps above to view your archived campaigns.
- Click the grid of dots button on the campaign you want to restore to open the campaign actions menu.
- Select Restore Campaign.
The campaign returns to your Campaign Dashboard with all of its previous data.
Deleting a Campaign
To delete a campaign, open the campaign actions menu on the campaign card and select the delete option. Deleting a campaign also deletes all of its data.
Important: Deleted campaigns cannot be retrieved, and their data cannot be restored. Only delete a campaign if you are confident you will not need to access its data again. If you might need it later, archive the campaign instead.
