How Does Pitchbox Handle Contact Forms?

Pitchbox handles opportunities that use contact forms differently to opportunities that have an email available. You can still reach out to an opportunity even if it doesn’t have a contact!

If Pitchbox can’t find a valid contact on a website, it will automatically look for and use a contact form when one is available.

If you’d prefer to use a different contact form, you can add your own by selecting Inspect & Personalize, opening the site in a new tab, and copying the contact form URL. Paste that URL into the section below.

To send outreach to a contact form in Pitchbox, first, move the site through the workflow from Inspect & Personalize to Compose as normal.  Once you’re on the Compose screen, select Compose to the right of the opportunity.

From there, copy the first template used in this campaign’s email sequence directly into the message, then click Preview and Send.

When you click Preview and Send, you’ll see exactly how your message will look with all fields filled in using that website’s specific data.

From there, select Copy body to clipboard and Open Form. This will open the website’s contact form and copy the message text, (already personalized with the site’s information) to your clipboard.

Paste the message into the contact form, complete any remaining fields, and submit it on the website. When you are done, return to Pitchbox, select Mark as Sent so the opportunity is updated to 'Outreached' in the system.

If the site or company doesn’t respond within the number of days set in your email sequence, the opportunity will move back to the Compose stage of the workflow as Compose 2 or Compose 3.

From there, you can repeat the same process, using your second or third email template as a follow-up.
